 My name is Jaxson Lamb, I was born in Colorado, moved to Georgia when I was 6 years old. I have 2 older brothers, one of them is in graduate school at Barry University here in Florida. My oldest brother lives in Georgia still and is a football coach. I also recently became an uncle, my nephews name is Greyson and he turns 2 on January 24th. My parents live in Naples Florida, My Dad has restaurants in Orlando so he visits me often. We enjoy going to lighting games together, Our first game together was over 8 years ago before I even knew what the university of Tampa was. What I expect out of this class is a challenge to myself and to learn how to use and computer better.  I have never used photoshop and am only a little familiar with programs such as excel. Im excited to start the new year and my second semester of college.

Artist statement: I was asked to make a letter to my future self and create a calligramme out of it. A calligramme is words formed in a way to make a shape, usually relating to the writing. The main focus of my writing was my future plans to start a business. So for my calligramme, I decided to make my words into a tall building to symbolize the future growth of not just my business but my entire life. one of the most readable and biggest texts is me stating"I want to learn what it takes to start said business and learn." portfolio artist statement

Artist statement: This project was fun to make and had me dig deep into my creativity. This class has taught me more useful skills on a computer in 4 months than I have learned my whole life. Coming in I knew nothing about Adobe or its products but I slowly learned how to use them proficiently. I used a simple template for my portfolio so that my artwork would be the main story, not the background. You can see through the portfolio my projects slowly getting better and I am proud of myself for that.
